Cookie policy

Duct uses no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. It only stores what it needs to work, which is why you don’t see a cookie banner.

To show prices in your currency, the site asks its hosting provider which country your connection comes from. Only the country is returned. Nothing is stored, and no cookie is set.

The Duct app

The desktop app, the command line and a self-hosted Duct server store their settings, index and preferences in files on your own device or server. The Duct web interface on your own server stores a few preferences in your browser (for example whether to show the mascot, and passages you collected). A server protected by an access token sets an HttpOnly cookie, duct_token, so you stay signed in to it. None of this is sent to Tensflare.

Your choices

Because we only use strictly necessary storage, we don’t ask for consent. If we ever add anything that isn’t strictly necessary, we will ask first and update this page. You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser at any time. Clearing the sign-in cookie only means you start that sign-in again.
